Cambridge was named as the second best place to invest in property this week by Channels 4's Kirstie and Phil: Where Best to Invest.

Results were based on information from the UK's 434 local authorities, including where people spend their money, how many new restaurants//bars are opening up, the number of key workers in an area and where planning permission is being granted. Cambridge was chosen for its large population of students, young professionals, tourist industry and thriving economy, and bettered only by Oxford.
